donated $50 for Become a Human Ice Cream Sundae (it won't let me vote for the original idea of this same thing, so I am adding it...)It wouldn't let me vote for any of the choices, so I entered a new one for the same thing as the currently first place dare, the Human Ice Cream Sundae!

donated $25 for As homage to her uber fave comedic tv character, dress up as Wesley Crusher or Batman (Sheldon Cooper's idols) AND attend the Music is Art festival where she will be working in the auction tent, Sept. 11'th. She must get a sandwich board which will include Sheldon's picture & important facts & most importantly her Dempsey Challenge info. While patrons are visiting tent, Shannon has to do various, highly entertaining Sheldon Cooper monologues! Anytime she gets a donation, she must yell "BAZINGA!"

donated $25 for Shave a logo or small phrase/picture into one side of their head (note their hair is now even longer than in the picture supplied). They will donate the cut hair to Locks of Love. People can vote on what I could shave into it, it has to be relatively simple, as a hairdresser will have to be able to do it!Oh Shannon .... I think you'll look lovely with the Pat's Flying Elvis shaved into your hair!!

  • I am a 36 year old mom of 3 young children. I am riding my bike 100 miles on October 3rd to raise money for The Dempsey Challenge. I am doing this because in my lifetime, I have lost far too many people that I love to cancer! My grandfather, aunts, uncles, a young cousin, and friends have all gotten cancer and most have sadly lost their battle.

I started out riding my bike to get healthier and then moved onto trying to use it as a method of raising money for a cause that is close to my heart. The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing is an amazing place. They do so much for so many. All of their services are free, and they treat the whole person instead of just treating the cancer, in an effort to improve the quality of life for them as they fight a battle for their life.
