I'm the proud Executive Director of the Spina Bifida Resource Network and would move mountains for the children and families living with Spina Bifida!
SBRN is the only organization solely dedicated to the Spina Bifida community in New Jersey and Metro New York. Our services for Spina Bifida are unrivaled in this region.
We provide direct nursing and social service coordination to families living with Spina Bifida through the Family Support Program. Our team goes in-person to wherever our families need an advocate and a voice. The nurses attend important medical visits to ensure our clients understand the procedures and that their medical professionals hear their concerns. The social service coordinators will attend individual educational planning sessions at schools to ensure that children living with Spina Bifida will thrive in their learning environment and receive the supports they need.
We're hoping a lot of people would enjoy seeing me make a fool of myself for this wonderful cause.
